Miss Teen Philippines 2019 Press Presentation Press Presentation

“Miss Teen Philippines returns with a bigger agenda.”

Miss Teen Philippines, or MTP, has been in four years of hiatus. This year, MTP returns to the pageantry with a bigger agenda: highlighting the Filipino youth’s “Global readiness through education.” Miss Teen Philippines 2019 is now all set for the stage, featuring the beautiful 31 teen candidates from different major parts of the country—ready to compete for the crown in May 8, 2019, at New Frontier Theatre, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City.

The best from the major regions
The pageant has been all-out nationally. MTP secured all demographics, searching for the best teen to compete from all regions.
From National Capital Region, the pre-qualifying winners are: Allison Pineda, Treisha Rovero, Bea Bianca Racelis, Aira Mae Gloria, Sarah Joffe, and Princess Kein Guanzon.

In Luzon, 11 candidates stood out to complete the circle. From the Bicol region, Mikki Angela Barcela, Thiara Maria San Pablo, and Leizl Anne Iñigo follows. While the CALABARZON has Ivy Padilla, Erin Esquivel, Riza Carrillo, and Samantha Pagar as their representatives for the finals. Central Luzon, lastly, has four beautiful and powerful teens to front the battle, namely: Frenzel Lapus, Maria Czarina Bojos, Gianne Pearl Leuterio, and Myrna Esguerra.

In Visayas, eight young ladies are at their best for the pageant. The first three which are Regine Claude Romero, Patricia Lynn Beerda, and Joanna Kalkschmidt, are from Western Visayas; while Central Visayas offers five, strong candidates namely Karla Marie Niere, Kylah Sanchez, Olive May Sophia Bihag, Nicole Borromeo, and Kaye Rollins.

Mindanao, lastly but not the least of all, has six candidates to take home the title. Northern Mindanao winners are: Kamyll Miguel Pla, Francine Georgina Gamboa, and Nikki Advincula Moura. In Southern Mindanao, the winners Heart Jasmine Celo, Jamyla Diane Ampis, and Kayshia Joana Mandoga.

As ambassadors: ready and revered
Weeks before the coronation, the finalists were tasked to visit media stations across the metro such as DWIZ 882, DZRH, 97.9 Home Radio, iFM 93.9, Channel 2’s Umagang Kay Ganda, and on DZMM Radyo Patrol 630’s and DZMM Teleradyo’s Mismo hosted by Jobert Sucaldito.

“The goal has been fully realized.”
Moreover, these young ambassadors have been introduced to the Laguna Water administration last April 30, where they were taught how important the mandate of this governmental water management body is.
With MTP’s philosophy in advancing the youth’s growth to become future leaders in their own, the goal has been fully realized as the pageant partnered with various local government agencies to help facilitate the rollout of the pageant, and with the collaborations with the media.

Who will take home the crown?
The competition is tougher than before: 31 finalists are vying in—all to win the crown of the next Miss Teen Philippines.
The winner of Miss Teen Philippines 2019 will take home the title and be conferred as a youth ambassador. A million pesos worth of cash and prizes will be given to all Miss Teen Philippines winners.
ABS-CBN is the pageant’s official broadcast documentarist. Catch Miss Teen Philippines 2019’s official airing on Channel 2 at 10:30 PM, May 19, 2019. Additionally, MTP is made possible for its two top media partners: League Online News and League Magazine.
