MISS ASIA PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL 2019 is at its Golden Year

MISS ASIA PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL 2019

In celebration of its golden year, this year’s Miss Asia Pacific International takes its pageantry to a greater heights as it strengthen its advocacy at the core of the pageant. This year’s edition brings 55 most inspiring and beautiful women in the region in the grand stage to vie for the crown and the title representing beauty in diversity.

The #LoveTheDifference is this season’s banner showcasing its purpose on embracing individuality and setting utmost importance in championing different facets of diversity. “As a pageant organization we take pride in our advocacy because we believe that true beauty lies in the camaraderie of women when you see them together and them recognizing their differences. We want Miss Asia Pacific International to be a venue for the world to realize that women can achieve their highest potentials, not inspite of their differences, but because of it,” says MAPI President Jacqueline Tan-Sainz.

In pursuit of further promoting its advocacy, the organization is introducing a development in its activities. One new added category is named Continental Queens wherein these candidates will have their chance of representing their chosen continents through their submitted videos showcasing their personal advocacies and how they best relate to the organization’s major advocacies. This will bring them a chance to advance in the top 25 finalists.

The said Continental Queens will be awarded along with Best in the National Costume Competition, the Swimsuit Competition and to the Evening Gown Competition which will be held on October 9, 2019 at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre in Resort’s World Manila when the reigning queen, our very own Sharifa Akeel will relinquish her crown to her successor.
