A double occasion was hosted by Mutya Pilipnas honoring both Cyrille Payumo and April Short.
The event revolved around a victorious Cyrille Payumo who recently won the much-coveted title in Tourism, that of Miss Tourism International 2019-2020. The 22-year old Kapampangan bested 28 other candidates to win the crown in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last November 8, 2019 at the Sunday Resort Hotel.
Her duties include the promotion of tourism in all her official functions which will include a tour of key cities in South East Asia and more.
Ms Payumo is the 5th Filipina to win the crown since the pageant's establishment 22 years ago in 1997.
April Short, the 5'10" beauty from Zamboanga is presently intensifying her training in preparation for the prestigious World Top Model Competition in Monte Carlo, principality of Monaco on December 14, 2019.
The competition will be staged at the Fairmont. This will be the first time that the Philippines will be sending a representative.
The grand prize of WTM 2019 is a modelling contract with Major Models headed by Fiore Tondi. The grand prize is 200,000 euros.
