Miss Eco International 2019 1st Runner Up Maureen Montagne Homecoming Presscon

Maureen Montagne proud of strong finish in Miss Eco International 2019; Miss World introduces new GM.

Based on the accolades and tremendous outpour of support she received from netizens and pageant fans alike, Maureen Montagne feels very much like a big winner despite being crowned 1st Rubber-up in the recently-concluded Miss Eco International 2019 pageant held in Cairo , Egypt last March 29.

At her homecoming press conference held last Wednesday. April 10, at the Crowne Plaza, Manila Galleria. Ortigas Center, she exclaims, "I was confident about my coronations night performance because I was prepared. I have competed in the Philippines as well as the US several times and I left everything out on the stage. As I have gotten older, I have realized that what is yours will always find its way to you and what doesn't was never yours. I've never needed a crown to make me feel like a winner. I'm happy with my performance all around and am glad tp have placed so high after a Philippines win last year."

No less that Miss World PH National Director Arnold Vegafria believes that Maureen should have won.

In anticipation of the organization's much anticipated and historic staging of Mr World pageant in the country this year, Miss World Philippines, headed by its National Director Arnold Vegafria, also takes great pride in introducing its new General Manager, Arnold Mercado.

No stranger to the stoppage scene, "Mama Ru," as he is fondly called by pageant scribes, was one pf the pillars of ACES and Queens as its personality Development Trainer, and was also Operations Manager of Empire Studios.

Mercado remarks, "It's an honor and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be chosen as the new General Manager of Miss World Philippines . This is my passion, and I will give my utmost dedication to this job. You should expect a new branding for Miss World Philippines - one that is more competitive, prestigious and relevant."
