Miss Australasian Beauty Pageant Adopt-A-Student Program

Earlier in the afternoon today, Miss Australasian 2015 Radmilla Borkovic and Gentleman of the Philippines Rick Kristoffer Palencia (formerly Mister Global Philippines 2015) spent time with the students and scholars of Parañaque National High School (PNHS) to put forth their support for the Adopt-A-Student Program of Miss Australasian Beauty Pageant owner Cindy Dionisio with the assistance of Misters of Australia (Pageant Brother of Gentleman of the Philippines) Head Dr. Leo Bello.

Aside from recognizing the current scholars of the program in the said school, there was also a Public Speaking Contest among them where the ten (10) most promising in terms of oral English communication skills competed for top scores in front of the judges which included your blogger, Radmilla (who gamely engaged herself in a long Q&A with the scholars in subjects of beauty and charity) and Rick. Five winners were announced, and they received cash prizes from the ever-bubbly benefactor on the spot.

It was an afternoon well-spent. On top of giving a good challenge to the deserving students, the event was also a way of spreading awareness about youth affairs and concerns that were discussed by most of the young participants. This is one of the main thrusts of Gentleman of the Philippines which will have its official launch cone January, 2016.
